African American History Month/Baba the Storyteller

Can you identify the pictured African American heroes?
Answers are below!

February is African American History Month,
which was expanded from a week each year to a month in 1976
by President Gerald R. Ford to “seize the opportunity to honor
the too-often neglected accomplishments of black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history.” Please join us on Wednesday, February 5th, at 6:30 as we celebrate African American History with an evening of enchanting stories and West African songs by Baba the Storyteller.
